York City beat Grimsby Town in the Blue Square Premier today to sit third in the table.

Centre-back David McGurk missed out on a recall as he was named as a substitute.

The hosts were behind after just four minutes, Rob Duffy created the chance and Craig Disley pounced for the Mariners.

Jason Walker grabbed an equaliser on 34 minutes, before Ashley Chambers pounced in the 86th minute for the Minstermen.
