TEENAGER Jay Emmanuel-Thomas aims to become an Arsenal regular after spending time on loan with Doncaster.

The England Under-21 international made his debut for the Gunners in the fourth round of this season's FA Cup and has also been an unused substitute in several Premier League games.

"Knowing that Arsene Wenger had the faith to put me in his squad and starting XI was a great booster," said the highly-rated midfielder. "Hopefully, I will get a few games under my belt now and that will make me a better player."

Emmanuel-Thomas could make his first start for Rovers today after coming off the bench against Crystal Palace.

He has signed a new long-term deal with Arsenal but would be willing to extend his loan with Rovers until the end of the season. "Not many teams in the Championship play football like Doncaster," he said.
