It was a poor day for Yorkshire's football clubs today with no winners in the Football League.

York City were the only winners down in the Blue Square Premier.

There were defeats for Sheffield United, Doncaster Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday and Rotherham United.

While draws were the order of the day for Leeds United, Hull City, Barnsley and Huddersfield Town.

Bobby Hassell (14) gives Tykes the lead before Scott Sinclair (86) equalised from penalty spot.

Ipswich Town 3 Doncaster Rovers 2

Billy Sharp (6) opened scoring, before David Norris (48) and Connor Wickham gave Ipswich a 2-1 lead. Sharp equalised only for Carlos Edwards (64) to grab all three points for Ipswich.

Portsmouth 2 Leeds United 2

Pompey took lead via Joel Ward (26), before Luciano Becchio (48) equalised. John Utaka (61) put Portsmouth back in front before Davide Somme levelled again.

Corry Evans netted on debut for Tigers, before Ian Harte equalised from the penalty spot.

Sheffield United 1 Norwich City 2

Andrew Crofts (61) put Canaries in front, before Ched Evans (69) equalised. Crofts then regained the lead for City.

Terriers held to a scoreless draw by Colchester.

Ben Chorley (51) netted from penalty spot before Harry Kane (57) doubled Orient's advantage. Alex Revell (79) and Paul-Jose M'Poku (84) added late goals.
