Claudia Weiler, director of the polo school, said: " We are hosting several hen parties in the coming weeks and months. I think brides-to-be are looking for something a little more unique these days and a polo hen party fits the bill."

Taster sessions involve learning how to hold the mallet and strike the ball on Woody, the club's wooden horse, before progressing onto the real thing and a chukka or two of polo. Call Claudia on 01430 875767.
