Golden boot joins Castle Park men

Doncaster Knights have snapped up the most prolific points-scorer in the 2009/10 Championship season – Tristan Roberts of Moseley.

Roberts, 23, scored 236 points for the Midlanders last season despite them finishing in the bottom-four and the relegation play-offs.

The fly-half was first brought to the attention of Doncaster director of rugby Lynn Howells when he helped Moseley to a 33-25 victory over the Knights last season.

Doncaster have however lost the services of Michael Cusack who is to join London Welsh.
