The competition was held over consecutive weekends, with all prizes donated by this year’s club captain Jim Hemmings.

Three hundred golfers competed, including in the concluding men’s open fourball better ball in which the winning pair were two visitors, Dennis and Michael Roebuck, who amassed 45 pts.

The final two days’ play were punctuated by the highlight of the club’s social calendar, the Summer Ball, with caterers Ashley and Hayley Crampton – new to the club at the start of the year - again impressing with the standard of their fare.
