New English champion Dean will step up for Home Internationals alongside two of his Yorkshire team-mates in Bower and Brown
Dean (Lindrick), Bower (Meltham) and Brown (Bedale) will be joined in the team in County Antrim, Ireland, from August 12-14 by Alfie Plant, of Sundridge Park, who finished runner-up to the champion at Alwoodley GC on Saturday.
It will be the first time Dean, Bower, Brown and Plant have represented England at this level.

Hide AdThe team will be completed by established internationals Tomasz Anderson of Hertfordshire, Ashley Chesters of Shropshire, Paul Kinnear of Lancashire, Jimmy Mullen of Devon, Ben Taylor of Surrey, Sean Towndrow of Lancashire and Ashton Turner of Lincolnshire.
England will seek to regain the Home Internationals title, which they last won on Yorkshire soil at Ganton in 2013.
Bower, 22, was a semi-finalist at the English Amateur championship last week and represented England in this year’s Costa Ballena quadrangular tournament. He has had a series of top 10 finishes this season including the French amateur, the Lytham Trophy and the Hampshire Salver.
Brown, 20, won the recent Dutch Junior Open and, with it, a place in the KLM Open on the European Tour. He reached the last 16 in the English amateur, was sixth in the Lytham Trophy and is a member of the Walker Cup squad.

Hide AdSheffield’s Dean was runner-up in the Dutch Junior Open and has had top-four finishes in the Portuguese amateur and the Welsh open. He won the Lee Westwood Trophy last year and in 2013.
Bower and Brown are currently in Slovakia for the European Championship along with the man Dean succeeded as English champion, Nick Marsh (Huddersfield GC) and a fourth Yorkshire county team player Jonathan Thomson (Lindrick).
