LEEDS Golf Centre has welcomed former England and Yorkshire professionals, Ellie Robinson and Helen Searle, to its first-class team of professional coaches.
Joining from Moor Allerton GC, Robinson has been playing golf since the age of 14, turning professional with a plus three handicap.
She has played and captained Yorkshire ladies’ first team and played for England ladies’ Under-18s squad. She is in her second year of studying for a PGA Foundation Degree.
Searle has joined the team at LGC following a scholarship at Oregon State University in USA. She has played at both national and international level and moves from Huddersfield GC.
The pair will be taking a free ladies taster session on Sunday, April 24 (3pm-4pm) and all golfers at any level are welcome to join in.
Nigel Sweet, Operations Manager at Leeds Golf Centre, said: “We’re delighted that both Ellie and Helen have joined the team at Leeds Golf Centre.
“We’ve always had a strong female membership base and the experience and skill-set of the pair adds a new dimension to our team.
“We’ve already seen an influx of new starters at the course thanks to Ellie and Helen and we welcome the opportunity to teach new golfers the basics and introduce them to the game of golf, at whatever level.”
