The hosts Halifax-Huddersfield were looking to build on an 8-4 lead accumulated in the morning foursomes.

However, the ‘cease play’ hooter had to be sounded when a storm struck and by the time the weather cleared it was too late to re-start the matches.

Under league rules, the morning match results stand and the incomplete matches were all considered halved, resulting in a 20-16 win for the home team.
