YLCGA: Sheffield heading for Grand Medal Final at Slaley Hall

MOOR Allerton’s Pauline Sheffield was leading finalist at England Golf’s Grand Medal Northern Regional Final at Slaley Hall.

Sheffield shot 78 to lead home Candy Brown (Parklands) by two shots.

Karen Joblin (Richmond) and Olivia Jackson (Pannal) were joint third on 81.

They are among the 10 qualifiers who will head to the Grand Medal Final at Frilford Heath on August 13.

Rudding Park pair Sue Rowe and Linda English claimed second place in the Australian Spoons North Regional Final held at Workington GC.

They accumulated 35 points to finish just one point behind the winners from Lancaster GC.
