Yorkshire golf - club news: Two late birdies lift Robert Hall to victory in Huddersfield GC Stableford
Hall might have thought his chance had gone when he failed to register any points at the 321-yard par-4 14th.
But he birdied both 15 and 16 and then recorded pars at 17 and 18 to win by two points from David Sowden, who also plays off nine.

Hide AdSowden amassed 21 points to the turn, but stalled with a blob at the 10th where he droves out of bounds and only one point at the 11th.
Derek Moore, a 15-handicapper, placed third. He too carded 21 points going out and 16 coming home, but was edged out for runner-up spot on countback.
Pat Poole, playing off 34, won the ladies' Stableford at Huddersfield with 34 points. Her round included five net birdies.
Second was Cathy Burger (25 handicap), a point back, who did well to total 33 points having failed to register at three holes compared to Poole's one blemish.
Maxine Rowlands (23) was third on 30 points.
