Yorkshire golf: Places still available at Forest Pines Junior Tour event

These events, supported by the Sheffield Union of Golf Clubs and sponsored by Callaway Europe and Rosehill Press, offer competition for juniors of all ages and abilities.

As well as prizes for gross and net scores, there are also prizes for nearest the pin and longest drive.

On-course refreshments and post-round meals will be available.

Organiser Nick Huby, manager of the Peter Cowen Academy, said: “ This year’s Tour has been the most successful to date with up to 80 players competing in each one, but we still have a few places for the final event so I suggest players book now.

“These competitions are not just for elite juniors, they are open to all. Everybody is welcome to come and enjoy a fun day on a great course.”

The Tour, run annually, has four events, staged this year at Lindrick, Rotherham, Hallamshire and Forest Pines.
