Yorkshire golf: White Rose trio aiming for final stage of Qualifying School
Gavins is one of three Yorkshire players competing in the penultimate stage of the Tour's Qualifying School in Spain.
He will compete at Lumine in the 72-hole pre-cursor to next week's Final Stage at Catalunya.

Hide AdHowley Hall's Marcus Armitage has already gained promotion from the EuroPro to the Challenge Tour for 2016 as one of the former's five highest points winners this year.
Armitage, who won both the GRENKE Championship and the Tree of Life title, will be in action Friday through to Monday at Panoramica as he looks to by-pass the second tier of tournament golf.
Huddersfield GC's Nick Marsh, last year's English Amateur champion, will be in action at Las Colinas.
He came through the first stage of Qualifying School when he shot a three-under-par tally at Frilford Heath (70 74 69 72) to tie 13th.

Hide AdLast Friday, Gavins lost in a three-man play-off in the HotelPlanner.com PGA EuroPro Tour’s Matchroom Sport Tour Championship at Desert Springs Resort in Spain.
Victory would have earned him £20,000 and his Challenge Tour card.
