The leading 25 players and ties at the end of Thursday's final round will earn membership of the European Tour for the 2016 Race to Dubai campaign.

Hanson (70 63 66 71 73) had three birdies going out, but their effect was downgraded by a double bogey at the sixth.

He could find only one birdie, at the 12th, on the run back to the clubhouse and three bogeys led to his one-over 73.

Gavins (71 65 66 68 75) had four bogeys on his card and just one birdie, although coming at his penultimate hole it will have lifted him ahead of the final day's play.

Finch (69 66 70 73 71) was three under par through 12 holes, but dropped shots at 14 and 16 for his one-under-par 71.
