"It was a roller-coaster of a week, and I'm just glad it ended on a high," said Calland, who had been suspended over the fielding of an ineligible player but then reinstated.

"We showed tremendous character and commitment against Barrow. I'm full of praise for every single one of the lads and I'm hoping that will kick-start our season."
