Huddersfield Town v Carlisle United: Clark still has his sights on top-two place

League one: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN manager Lee Clark is refusing to give up on automatic promotion.

The Terriers are 15 points adrift of second-placed Leeds United despite boasting an identical home record to the Elland Road club, joint best in League One.

Despite that, Clark said: "The two automatic positions are still there for us, without a doubt. But we have to go on a really good run from now until the end of the season.

"We would have to be very consistent and win a lot of games, but we are not ruling out any of the positions yet.

"Norwich are on a magnificent run at the moment, but everyone else has dropped points over the last few weeks. So, although we have a lot of catching up to do, who knows where a run of results could take us?"

Carlisle will be hoping to complete the first stage of a notable West Yorkshire double today as they can book a trip to Wembley in the JP Trophy on Tuesday night at the expense of Leeds.
