Imps could be next destination for duo

LEAGUE TWO: Mick Harford and Steve Thompson are keen to link-up at Lincoln City following the shock departure of manager Chris Sutton.

Former Rotherham United manager Harford and former Sheffield United manager Thompson are both currently out of work but are highly regarded at Sincil Bank.

Harford, 51, started his playing career with the Imps while Thompson, 55, has both played for and managed the club

Former Rotherham defenders Paul Hurst and Rob Scott are also contenders for the job after steering Boston United out of the Unibond Premier League in their first joint-managerial task.
