Sandoval graduated from Azusa Pacific in the PacWest Conference averaging 9.9 points, 4.7 assists and 3.4 rebounds per game. This earnt him a place on the All-Conference Second Team in his senior year.
Leeds Force head coach Matt Newby said: “In Rob, I think we have a pedigree guard who compliments the brand of basketball Leeds Force has aspirations of playing. His high level IQ is complimented by a level of selflessness that lends itself to success at this level. He comes with strong recommendations and is hungry to prove himself in the BBL.”
Sandoval added: “It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to play for the Leeds Force organisation. I am eager to contribute this next season and build on what Leeds Force accomplished last year. I look forward to working with a great coach in Matt Newby and to build a great team with my team-mates.”
Sandoval is the first new face on the Leeds Force team for the new season in September. He joins returnees Clayfell Harris, Rob Marsden and Armand Anebo.
