Leeds United sign Neill Collins

SIMON GRAYSON has continued his recruitment for next season by signing defender Neill Collins from Preston North End.

The 26-year-old Scot helped Leeds achieve promotion from League One last season after playing nine games on loan from the Championship club.

Collins joins on a three-year contract.

"We know all about Neill from last season and what he brings to the club," said Grayson.

"Neill already knows most of the lads here and we're pleased we've concluded a deal before we head to Slovakia on Saturday.

"Neill has plenty of experience at Championship level and is another important addition to our squad."
