Hide AdSandal returned to winning ways in an entertaining 29-20 victory at home to Percy Park.
Sandal used their dominance in the scrum during the first half to gain the upper hand. Greg Wood kicked them into a 12-6 lead before Tom Coad touched down.
The game was a tighter affair after the break and Percy Park hinted at a comeback when they scored an early converted try.
However, Sandal hit back quickly to nullify the momentum when a series of phases ended with prop Rob Norbury showing great composure to take a low pass and dive over in the corner.
That try was followed by another penalty by Wood, who sealed the win before Park’s late rally.
