London Welsh 37 Doncaster Knights 14: Knights struggle to cope with impressive Welsh
Knights followed up their narrow last-minute defeat to Rotherham Titans last Saturday, by conceding five tries to two against an accomplished Exiles outfit.
Welsh scrum-half Moates turned the game in the home side’s favour once Oli Goss’s try had brought the Yorkshire side back into the game after Martin Purdy’s opening try for the hosts.

Hide AdKnights’ trailed 13-7 at the break as Dougie Flockhart added the extras in a first half heavily affected by the pressing wind.
Tries from Edd Thrower, Paul Mackey and Joe Ajuwa put the result beyond doubt as Doncaster slipped off far too many tackles in the difficult conditions.
The Knights threatened a fightback on the hour mark as Flockhart converted a penalty try as the Doncaster pack started to dominate, but focus seems to have drifted to the play-offs already for Brett Davey’s men.
