Macclesfield v Bradford City: Experienced duo ready to lift Bantams

League Two: Peter TAYLOR will today look to experience in an attempt to kick-start Bradford City out of their slumber.

The Bantams are in danger of being dragged into the fight to stay in the Football League following a dreadful run of five defeats from their last six games.

Another reverse at fellow strugglers Macclesfield Town would really have the alarm bells ringing and Taylor is hoping the return of several of City's more experienced players will do the trick as Michael Flynn stands by for his first start of the season and Lewis Hunt prepares for what would be his first involvement since September.

New signing Scott Dobie, 32, is also likely to be in the starting line-up while Simon Ramsden, out since the opening week of the season, is ready for a return to the bench.

He said: "Experience counts for a lot in football and being without our more experienced players for much of the season has had an impact. The pleasing thing is Michael and Lewis are close to starting."
