Jermaine Beckford scored twice as Leeds United held Tottenham to a 2-2 FA Cup fourth-round draw at White Hart Lane.

Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers crashed out of the FA Cup, but Alan Irvine continued his remarkable start to his Sheffield Wednesday managerial career with victory over Peterborough.

In League Two, Rotherham United got back to winning ways with victory over Grimsby while Bradford slipped up at Lincoln City.

Jermaine Beckford grabbed a second-half equaliser as Leeds United battled back against Tottenham. Peter Crouch had puts Spurs ahead after Jermain Defoe missed a penalty. Roman Pavlyuchenko put Spurs 2-1 ahead before Beckford netted a stoppage-time equaliser from the penalty spot.

Wayne Rooney put United ahead after just eight minutes at Old Trafford, before adding a second on 82 minutes. He completed his hat-trick on 86 minutes before grabbing a fourth late on.

Marcus Tudgay headed home a Michael Gray corner at the near post just before the half-time whistle. Tudgay added a second after the break, before Jake Livermore pulled a goal back on 75 minutes.

Chris Herd put the Imps in front on 31 minutes, before Brian Gilmour doubled Lincoln's advantage six minutes later. Michael Boulding reduced the deficit on 62 minutes.

Rotherham United 2 Grimsby Town 1

Adam Le Fondre put the Millers ahead after nine minutes before doubling the Millers' lead. Wes Fletcher grabbed a late consolation for the Mariners.

Neil Barrett grabbed a winner for York on 48 minutes to extend their winning league run to nine matches. Robbie Wilmott came close several times to scoring for Cambridge while Michael Rankine's header came close to doubling York's lead.
