PUDSEY’S Nile Wilson won his third gold medal of the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games with victory in the men’s high bar final in Corooma.
Wilson’s score of 14.533 was half a point down on his qualifying mark but still enough to beat team-mate James Hall, who shared silver with Canada’s Cory Paterson.
It means the Leeds 22-year-old will leave Australia with a total of five medals having won silver on the parallel bars earlier today.
Wilson said: “It’s been an incredible week and I’m very exhausted right now.
“It’s a massive stepping-stone for the future. Some of the scores we put out this week as a team is exciting in terms of world level gymnastics.
“I delivered again and I’m so happy and buzzing. I can’t wait for the Europeans and the Worlds, but I will be celebrating for the next six days.”
