Murray books second week

British No 1 Andy Murray survived a mid-match slump to beat Marcos Baghdatis yesterday and reach week two of the French Open for the second successive year.

Murray won the opening two sets before completely losing the plot,

gifting his opponent seven successive games and a route back into the match. But after going a break down in the fourth set, the 23-year-old World No 4 four finally woke up to win 6-2 6-3 0-6 6-2 in two hours and 33 minutes to reach the last 16.
