Murray set for French test

British No 1 Andy Murray will play veteran Frenchman Marc Gicquel in the second round this morning.

The 32-year-old Gicquel won through by defeating Italian Simone Bolelli 7-6 (7/2) 7-6 (7/2) 6-3 in their rain-postponed match.

Their match will be played on the outside Margaret Court arena.

Fifth seed Murray brushed aside qualifier Kevin Anderson 6-1 6-1 6-2 in the first round.
