Pocklington were knocked off the top when they suffered a 23-15 defeat at West Leeds.

West Leeds were 7-5 ahead at the break with centre Sam Neave touching down and stand-off Danny Monk converting. Pocklington stayed in touch with Ben Stephenson scoring a try.

After the break, Neave added a second try, Monk kicked a penalty and replacement Campbell Breakwell kicked two penalties and a conversion. Stand-off Ben Rees added a second try for Pocklington and Nick Bennett added a converison and a penalty.

Huddersfield YMCA regained their early lead when they scored a 16-14 home win over Hullensians.

Scrum-half Nick Clarke and second-row Jack Owsley touched down, and full-back Jon Smith kicked two penalties.

Doncaster Phoenix moved level with Hullensians when they fought from behind for a 35-24 home victory over Leodiensians.

Centre Craig Deakin scored two of Doncaster's five tries which earned them a bonus point.

West Park Leeds edged to a 10-7 victory over Old Rishworthian, with full-back Nick Nightingale scoring a try and stand-off Jordan Wagner kicking the conversion and a penalty. For Rishworthians, winger Joe Billing scored a try and Mike Piper converted.

Moortown pipped hosts Barnsley 28-27 at Shaw Lane with a try with five minutes left from winger Dominic Gray, converted by Matt Shires.
