Olympic designer arrives at Bramham

ORGANISERS of the Bramham International Horse Trials have several changes in the pipeline for next year's event.

David Evans has been appointed as the new cross country course builder. He was responsible for the course at the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong and has worked on courses in the USA, Canada and South Africa.

David, along with Richard Taylor and Charles Etherington-Smith, will be working with course designer Ian Stark, whose layout this year proved popular with both riders and spectators. Several new fences are planned for next year.

The 2011 event will run from June 2-5.
