Otley 36 Blaydon 12: Resurgent Otley go nap again
They scored five against Blaydon and each one was a gem.
They made their intentions clear from the start, running back the deep kick-off only to concede a penalty in front of the posts which former Wharfedale centre Andrew Baggett contrived to miss.
Otley then swept back upfield and fly-half James Murray, having completed his delayed return from Spain, made no mistake with a drop-goal from 38 metres.

Hide AdStrong running from No 8 Ollie Stedman and lock Alex Ball produced a penalty which Murray duly kicked and he followed this with a fine high kick for the corner, James Twomey outpacing the defence to touch down.
Losing their dynamic captain, Howard Parr, caused a little uncertainty and the visitors struck with a try by lock Chris Wearmouth from a five-metre lineout, Baggett converting.
Otley then settled down admirably and the second half was a delight with forwards and backs combining to run Blaydon ragged.
Another great kick from Murray was taken on the full by
Curtis Wilson at speed and he ran in at the corner before Otley's sole error, at the restart, allowed No 7 Mark Wilson to stroll over.
