Pratt brace takes Roundhegians top

Roundhegians, who had a match in hand, moved clear of Old Rishworthians at the top with a 36-5 home victory over strugglers Garforth.

Roundhegians turned round 12-0 ahead and consolidated their lead before Garforth replied with a lone try midway through the second half.

Stand-off Chris Pratt scored two of the home side's six tries, with second-row Kyle Sutcliffe, winger Chris Clarkson and full-back Nathan Lowis also touching down.

They also scored a pushover try from a driving maul. Matt Loughney converted three.

Northallerton, after leading by only a penalty at half-time, ran in two second-half tries to finish 26-12 home winners over higher-placed Wath on Dearne.
