Reveley set to bid fond farewell
The Saltburn trainer wants to spend more time in France where his son, James, is champion jockey.
His more likely winner could be Midnight Moss in the Bumper, though it’s ominous that Barry Geraghty is flying over from Ireland to ride the JP McManus-owned and Nicky Henderson-trained Champ on the gelding’s racecourse debut.

Hide AdReveley is less optimistic about the chances of Redkalani in the concluding handicap hurdle. “It will be nice to go out with a winner, though it never works out how you want it to,” he said.
“Midnight Moss is probably the best horse we have. He will be either good enough or not, but we have a Henderson / Geraghty one against us and they are usually pretty hot. We’ve had some great days at Southwell. I was leading trainer there one year and James, when they ran the Great Yorkshire Chase there, won the big mares race on Clouding Over – it was his biggest win at the time.”
