Rotherham United v Shrewsbury Town passes pitch inspection

ROTHERHAM United's home game with Shrewsbury Town this evening has been given the go-ahead after fans helped clear the pitch of snow.

The Millers issued a plea this afternoon for fans to take a shovel down to Don Valley Stadium to help clear the pitch of snow.

And their efforts have been rewarded with the pitch passing a 4.30pm inspection.

The match is scheduled for 7.45pm and is live on Sky Sports.

Doncaster Rovers have issued a similar plea to get supporters down to their Keepmoat Stadium ground with shovel in hand ahead of tomorrow's Championship game with Leicester City.

Anyone interested is also requested to bring a shovel.
