Rotherham United v Southend United: Taylor earns new contract at Rotherham

League two: ROTHERHAM United striker Ryan Taylor is set to sign a new deal ahead of today's clash with Southend United.

Taylor has scored four goals in his last five games and is ready to commit his future to the Millers until summer 2013.

Manager Ronnie Moore is still looking to strengthen his attacking options and has confirmed an interest in Burton Albion's Shaun Harrad.

Welsh international midfielder Mark Bradley, meanwhile, has been made available on loan after struggling to make an impact following a summer switch from Walsall.

"Every player dips in form but he is a quality player and I do not think we have seen the best of him," said Moore. "He has got to knuckle down. I've spoken to some clubs and let them know he is available on loan."

The Millers, currently second in the League Two table, dropped two points in midweek against Stockport County but Moore said: "If we are mentally prepared and on our game, Southend will not be able to live with us."
