Hide AdHullensians took the lead with a try by left winger Tom McCarthy to turn round 5-0 ahead, but YMCA gained the upper hand after the restart with tries from winger Adam Ryder and forwards Jack Housley and James Bell, two converted by John Smith.
Hull's second-half points came from two penalties by Chris Smith.
A hat-trick of tries inside the first half hour by full-back Nick Bennett put second-placed Pocklington on their way to a 62-8 home victory over West Leeds.
Pocklington were 17 points up in as many minutes, Bennett having scored all those points, and he finished the game with a tally of 32 points from his three tries, seven conversions and a penalty.
