Ablett agrees new deal at Leeds Rhinos

LEEDS RHINOS forward Carl Ablett has agreed a new four-year contract which will keep him at Headingley at least until the end of the 2014 season.

The 24-year-old second rower, who is a product of the Rhinos academy, has made 81 appearances since 2004 and has featured in the club's last three Grand Final victories.

Leeds coach Brian McClennan said: "Carl is an important part of the Rhinos and he keeps getting better every year."

Ablett said: "It's good to finally sort out a long term deal with the club. Leeds are the team I have supported since I was young so I never wanted to join anywhere else."
