Broncos lose as Rams stretch winning run

Dewsbury Rams made it four away wins on the bounce in the Kingstone Press Championship as they edge past London Broncos 20-16 in a close encounter.

With Dewsbury having won their last three away matches against Doncaster, Batley and Workington, while London Broncos had been unbeaten at The Hive so far this season, something had to give.

Broncos broke the deadlock in the seventh minute when Iliess Macani galloped free down the wing, reversed the ball inside to Hellewell who was able to touch down under the sticks.

Dewsbury came out flying for the second half and took the lead for the first time in the match through a Beckett try and Kieran Hyde conversion.

Broncos’ star man Macani jinked his way over the line in the 50th minute to bring the match back level.
