It was 18-0 in the 28th minute when Joe Hirst found a gap from five metres out to slide in between the posts.

The try of the match followed in the 34th minute. Quentin Laulu-Togagae made a superb break from his own line down the left wing before offloading to Yere. He passed to Dom Brambini who in turn handed it to Nev Morrison who completed a wonderful team effort.

A stunning half for Sheffield was complete when Misi Taulapapa went over on the right wing.

It did not get any better for the Rams in the second half as Brown made it 36-0. Brown’s dinked kick just evaded Yere but it bounced off two Dewsbury defenders and back to Brown who had a simple finish.
