Bulls’ Bateman is charged over ‘crusher’ tackle
Bradford Bulls’ John Bateman will appear before the Rugby Football League’s disciplinary committee today after being charged with making a Grade D dangerous tackle during his side’s Carnegie Challenge Cup fifth-round defeat at Warrington Wolves.
Bateman has been charged with executing a dangerous contact ‘crusher tackle’ on Warrington full-back Brett Hodgson.
