Burrows set to miss Catalan trip

LEEDS Rhinos’ scrum-half Rob Burrow will miss Sunday’s trip to Catalan Dragons after being handed a one-game ban by RFL disciplinary chiefs last night.

The 28-year-old was cited for a dangerous tackle on Wigan forward Ryan Hoffman during the Rhinos’ 26-24 defeat at the DW Stadium

Catalan Dragons prop David Ferriol will miss three of his side’s last seven league matches – as well as being handed a £300 fine – as a result of his dismissal in Saturday’s 34-28 win over Bradford at Odsal.

Ferriol was found guilty of a high tackle on Bradford’s James Donaldson and will start his suspension this Sunday.

Crusaders second-rower Hep Cahill will sit out Saturday’s game against Hull KR after being given a one-match ban for a late tackle on Huddersfield’s Kevin Brown, during his side’s 40-12 defeat at The Shay.
