Clark handed new Castleford Tigers contract
YOUNG hooker Daryl Clark has been handed an enhanced and extended contract by Castleford Tigers.
The former Fryston ARL player has been in outstanding form for their Under 18s this year and was elevated to the Under-20s last week, scoring an outstanding try against Harlequins.
Clark, 17, has signed until the end of 2013 and coach Terry Matterson said: "This is good news for the club.
"Daryl is a very exciting prospect. He has been training with the club full-time and is shaping up well.
"I believe that he has the potential to make his mark in the top flight."
