Commitment from Sidlow boosts Bulls

Bradford Bulls have been boosted by news prop Adam Sidlow has signed a new two-year deal.

The front-row arrived from Salford City Reds last season and scored five tries in 19 games.

Bradford – who start their Super League season against Castleford Tigers on Sunday – will find out this week if they are to receive a points deduction for entering administration.

But Sidlow, 26, said: “Despite what has gone on over the past couple of months off the field, I would not change a thing.

“A big thanks must go to Francis (Cummins) as he gave me the initial opportunity and helped me gain a new deal, which I badly wanted.

“This is such a massive club and it is an honour to play here.

“I’d like to think my best years are still ahead of me and I still feel as though I am progressing as a Super League player.”

England prop Garreth Carvell seems set to leave for Hull FC just months after signing from Warrington Wolves.
