Conferences on the incentive to turn to renewable heating systems

The Forestry Commission and a consortium of West Yorkshire councils with woodlands to manage are running a briefing on the proposed Renewable Heat Incentive at Bradford City Hall on March 15.

RHI proposals are currently under discussion, for implementation in a year's time. They amount to ways of subsidising the installation of new heating systems using energy sources such as wood, solar panels and underground heat collectors.

The event will include speakers from the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Places are free but must be booked. Call Claire Hoyles on 07528 252 404 or email [email protected] or call Rudie Humphrey on 01904 382317 or email [email protected]/
