Dewsbury Rams eased into the fourth round but amateurs Drighlington can take huge credit from this tie.

The Pennine League Premier Division high-fliers Drighlington defended superbly and their efforts in attack were rewarded with two tries.

In the first minute James Lockwood stormed over wide out and Pat Walker landed the first of seven conversions for the Rams.

James Haynes raced through for Dewsbury's second try which Walker converted before Drighlington loose forward Lee Mulhern crashed over.

Chris Spurr and Adam Hayes, added tries converted by Walker but Drighlington responded with Ryan Jackson's try and fine conversion from wide out.

Ayden Faal extended the Rams' lead and Walker added a terrific touchline conversion before late tries by Luke Stenchion and Adam Robinson, both converted by Walker, eased Rams home.
