Featherstone Rovers 52 Whitehaven 4: Fourth straight Shield in sights of rampant Rovers
Centre Vince Mellars and winger Will Sharp each scored three tries and captain Liam Finn kicked eight goals to notch his 2,000th career point as Rovers stayed three points behind leaders Sheffield, who they host next Wednesday.
Rovers took the lead when Andy Kain’s towering kick set up a try for Will Sharp. Whitehaven came into the game more, but Rovers stretched their lead with Mellars’s three tries.

Hide AdRovers went further ahead early in the second-half through tries from Greg Worthington and Jack Bussey. Chris Fleming grabbed a cionsolation try before Rovers completed the rout when Sharp completed his hat-trick and Worthington scored his second.
