A statement from Huddersfield read: "The test results were received this morning, and required conversations with Public Health England and a thorough investigation of the situation to ensure the safety of all involved, leading to the decision to put back the kick-off from 530pm as originally scheduled.

"None of the four positive tests involved players involved in last week’s fixture.

"Two were for players in rehabilitation after injury, and the other two were for non-players who have not been in contact with the playing group.

"The club are awaiting the result of retests for four players. They have been instructed to self-isolate until those results are received."

In total this week, there have been 575 tests for Covid-19, with 571 negative results, and the four positives at Huddersfield – discounting the four inconclusive results from Huddersfield.
