Hull FC's Radford appeals ban

HULL have lodged an appeal against the one-match ban imposed on prop Lee Radford for punching Leeds forward Ryan Bailey in Saturday's final match of the regular Engage Super League season.

The suspension means the Black and Whites club captain will miss Saturday's huge elimination play-off against Hull KR at the KC Stadium.

Hull argue that because Radford, who was sent off for the first time in his career and was also fined 300, missed more than 70 minutes of the league game he has already effectively served a one-match ban.

The appeal is expected to be heard later today.
