The tries just kept coming, Craig Moss capitalising on good work from Ryan Smith, before James Feather created one for Andy Shickell and scored one himself.

Nicholson touched down twice in three minutes, the second after a superb break from Brendon Rawlins, and Baines grabbed his second of the game.

A superb, floating pass from Jy-mel Coleman sent in Ben Sagar and Keighley brought up the half century when Smith jinked through.

Surprisingly, Gateshead pulled one try back before the break, Ryan Clarke scoring after a good break from Michael Kelly.
