Leeds Rhinos duo could return to face Wigan Warriors

Forwards Brett Delaney and Jamie Jones-Buchanan could both return from injury when Leeds Rhinos take on Wigan Warriors in Newcastle on Saturday.

Coach Brian McDermott has named the pair in an unchanged 19 from last week’s win over Hull KR.

Jones-Buchanan has missed Rhinos’ last three matches - and eight of their past nine - due to a hamstring problem.

Delaney sat out the 36-16 victory over the Robins after suffering a leg injury against Huddersfield Giants in the Challenge Cup six days earlier.

Rhodri Lloyd drops out from the Wigan side crushed 58-16 at Catalans Dragons last Saturday.

Ben Flower could return after injury and Connor Farrell and Ryan Hampshire are also vying for a recall.

Rhinos will take on Wigan in the final game of the Magic Weekend’s opening day at St James’ Stadium.
