Leigh Centurions 36 Featherstone Rovers 6: Featherstone fall to Leigh

Rovers started brightly but trailed to Chris Hill's try, before Tim Hartley kicked the first of six goals. MacGraff Leuluai then added a further Leigh score.

Featherstone struck back when smart work from Andy Kain and Briggs moved the ball wide for Michael Coady to link with Tommy Saxton who ran 40 metres. Liam Finn followed up to touch down and Briggs converted.

That was as good as it got for Rovers as tries from Dave Alstead, Mick Nanyn (2) and Mitchell.
