A walling course is up for bids in the annual long-distance auction organised by the Yorkshire branch of the Farm Crisis Network – along with an introduction to hunting; a ride on a lama; a set of horseshoes, plus fitting; a breeding pair of rare ducks; courses in stick-making, hedge-laying, sheepdog training, bee-keeping and alpaca care; a ride on a combine harvester; two tickets for one of Yorkshire's Pro 40 one-day cricket matches; and a "slave for a day". The Yorkshire contribution to the FCN's Christmas effort has become a tradition with a national following.
